Hi! Just saw this interesting end of year summary from the National Forest Foundation. Our national parks get a lot of attention, so I wanted to share the good work NFF is doing for lots of hiking trails and areas that are near where we live.

As the National Parks get more crowded, I think National Forests are more and more important. It's great to see what is being done with/for them.

Thanks for posting these statistics. National Forests are under appreciated for sure! We have 2 National Forests here in Minnesota that I hope to explore more.
